Kinnetly / Personal CRM for networking

A personal CRM for networking.

Kinnetly is a personal CRM for networking: one private place to record the people you meet, where you met them, who introduced you and when to follow up, before a good connection goes quiet.

What is a networking CRM?

A networking CRM is a personal CRM for the relationships you build by networking: people you meet at events, introductions you receive and contacts you want to keep warm. It is for one person rather than a sales team, and it focuses on context and follow-up rather than deals.

Workflow

How Kinnetly supports your networking

Link everyone to where you met

Events are part of your map. Link each person to the conference, meetup or breakfast where you met, and open the event later to see everyone you met there.

Capture contacts at the event

Scan a business card and AI pre-fills the name and contact details for you to check, or swap details in person with your Kinnetly QR code. On your phone, you can add someone on the spot.

Record who introduced you

When someone connects you, record the introduction and its date. Every person then shows who introduced them, so you know whom to thank and whom to update. Introduction tracking →

Keep the context of each conversation

Write notes, add tags such as an industry or a skill, and log each coffee, call or meeting. Dictate a quick note after a conversation and edit it before you save.

Follow up on a cadence

Set how often you want to contact each person, from monthly to yearly, and add one-off reminders. The follow-ups list shows the most overdue first, and if you turn on email reminders, Kinnetly can email you when someone becomes due. Not sure what rhythm is realistic? Use the keep-in-touch calculator to work out a cadence you can sustain.

See who has gone quiet

The dormant view lists people you have not contacted for 3, 6 or 12 months, so a weak tie does not fade by accident.

Groups and communities

Add the associations, boards, alumni networks and communities you belong to, link their members, and mark past memberships as former without losing the history.

Situations

Networking moments it is built for

Conferences and meetups

Link the people you meet to the event, note what you talked about, and set a follow-up while the conversation is fresh.

Changing careers

Map the people who know your work, record who introduces you to whom, and keep track of the conversations that move you forward.

A new city or a new role

Build a network from first meetings, with the context of each one, instead of a list of names you will not remember in a month.

Being the connector

If people often ask you for introductions, keep a dated record of whom you introduced and what each person is looking for.

Comparisons

A networking CRM or the tools you use now?

Networking CRM vs LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a public profile and a feed of connections. Kinnetly is a private map of the relationships that matter to you, with the context and follow-ups LinkedIn does not keep. It does not import your LinkedIn network.

Networking CRM vs a sales CRM

A sales CRM tracks deals and pipelines for a team. A networking CRM holds your own relationships, and they stay yours when you change jobs.

Networking CRM vs a pile of business cards

Cards record a name and a job title. In Kinnetly you record where you met, who introduced you and when to follow up, and a card scan gets the details in without retyping.

Boundaries

What Kinnetly is not

Kinnetly helps you network deliberately. It does not network for you.

It does not send messages

There are no email campaigns, sequences or automated outreach. You decide whom to contact and what to say.

It does not import LinkedIn

Kinnetly does not connect to LinkedIn or read your inbox. You add the people who matter to you.

Not a team CRM

There are no shared workspaces, pipelines or deal stages. Your networking map is yours alone.

Not a social network

Nobody else can see your map, and the people on it are not notified of anything.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a networking CRM?

A networking CRM is a personal CRM for the relationships you build by networking. You record where you met each person, who introduced you, what you talked about and when to follow up.

How do I remember where I met someone?

Add the event to your map and link each person to it. Opening the event later shows everyone you met there, and each person shows the events they are linked to.

Can Kinnetly remind me to follow up after an event?

Yes. Set a keep-in-touch cadence or a one-off reminder for each person. Kinnetly lists who is due and, if you turn on email reminders, emails you when someone becomes due.

Does Kinnetly connect to LinkedIn?

No. Kinnetly does not import your LinkedIn network or read your inbox. You add people yourself, scan business cards, swap QR codes or import a CSV or vCard file.

Is a networking CRM only for salespeople?

No. Founders, consultants, job seekers, investors and anyone who goes to events or relies on introductions use one to keep their network warm.

Can I use Kinnetly on my phone at an event?

Yes. Kinnetly is a web app you can add to the home screen of iPhone and Android devices, and card scan and QR swap work from your phone.
